1. Services

TopShield Roofing ("we", "us") provides residential roofing services, including inspections, roof repair, full roof replacement, leak repair, storm damage restoration, and shingle and tile work. All services are subject to crew availability, weather conditions, and service-area coverage.

2. Estimates & Pricing

All quotes are provided after on-site inspection and are approved by the customer before any work begins. Prices may vary based on roof size, pitch, material choice, the condition of underlying decking, and permit requirements. Hidden damage (such as rotted decking) discovered after tear-off will be documented with photos, communicated, and approved by the customer before additional work proceeds.

3. Weather & Scheduling

Roofing work is weather-dependent. Start dates and timelines may shift for safety in the event of rain, high winds, ice, or lightning. If a roof is opened when weather changes unexpectedly, we will secure and tarp the exposed area at no charge until work can safely resume.

4. Warranty

Our workmanship is covered by a 5-year warranty from the date of project completion. Shingles and roofing materials are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties, which may extend for decades and may require registration. The workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by severe weather events, fallen trees or debris, foot traffic by others, unauthorized modifications, or structural movement of the building. Warranty claims require proof of the original contract.

5. Insurance Claims

For storm damage, we can document the damage with photos and reports and assist the customer in communicating with their insurance company. The insurance policy and claim decision remain strictly between the customer and their insurer; we do not negotiate policy terms and make no guarantee of claim approval.

6. Permits & Code Compliance

All work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes. Where permits or inspections are required, we will advise the customer, and any associated fees will be included in the approved quote.

7. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to provide access to the property, move vehicles and fragile items away from the work area, and disclose any known issues such as prior leaks or repairs. Vibration during roofing work is normal; we recommend securing wall hangings and attic items. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage concealed at the time of inspection.

8. Deposits & Cancellations

A deposit may be required to schedule material delivery for replacements. Cancellations made with reasonable advance notice receive a full deposit refund, less any non-returnable material costs already incurred, as outlined at booking.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including interior damage from weather events prior to our work, loss of use, or lost income.

10. Phone Calls & Communication

By calling the number on this page, you consent to be contacted by us regarding your service request, including by phone or text message. Calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to schedule and complete your service (such as your name, phone number, and address). This information is used solely to provide the requested service and is handled with reasonable care and security.
